Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian’s Fairy Tale Romance: A Timeline

\n

Williams — who shares daughters Olympia, 6, and Adria, 11 months, with husband Alexis Ohanian — has retired from the tennis court professionally, but fans can still catch her when she takes the stage as the host of the 2024 ESPYs. The honor makes her one of the few women to hold this prestigious role, alongside the likes of Megan Rapinoe, Sue Bird and Danica Patrick.

“I couldn’t be more excited to host the ESPYs,” Williams shared in a statement in May. “This is a dream come true for me and something I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember. It has been a sensational year for sports and an unprecedented one for female athletes. I can’t wait to celebrate everyone on stage in July.”","thumbnailUrl":"https://s.yimg.com/uu/api/res/1.2/wBbzLBI9AW.yIrcJjEo4AA--~B/aD03MjA7dz0xMjgwO2FwcGlkPXl0YWNoeW9u/https://media.zenfs.com/en/us_magazine_896/af2d7ee5a94c8bcef07250c6236c45cd","duration":"PT1M14S","contentUrl":"","embedUrl":"https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/serena-williams-confirms-she-once-101646812.html?format=embed","identifier":"f672067d-9080-3a1b-af17-e984332b1274","uploadDate":"2024-07-08T10:16:46Z"}}
