This section of IGN's Destiny 2: The Witch Queen guide covers the Of Queens and Worms Quest to obtain the Parasite Exotic Grenade Launcher. This page will cover how to start the Of Queens and Worms Quest as well as a walkthrough of each step.

SPOILER WARNING: This Quest takes place after The Witch Queen Campaign's final mission and contains story spoilers.

Of Queens and Worms - Walkthrough

After completing The Witch Queen Campaign's final mission, The Ritual, speak with Ikora Rey at the Enclave on Mars to receive the Of Queens and Worms Quest.

Step One: Visit Mara Sov in The Relic area of the Enclave.

Visit the room behind The Relic at Enclave on Mars and interact with the worm.

Step Two: Complete the Birthplace of the Vile Strike.

Complete the Birthplace of the Vile Strike. The recommended Power level for this Quest step is 1510.

Step Three: Return to Fynch.

Speak with Fynch back at the Throne World.

Step Four: Collect a Cryptoglyph rune in the Temple of the Cunning.

Travel to the marked destination on your map until you reach the Temple of the Cunning, which you previously visited during The Witch Queen Campaign.

Fight your way across the bridge and at the end area where you previously lowered the drawbridge, you'll have a number of Scorn enemies to defeat, capped off with a fight against Fanatic's Chosen. Defeat all the enemies to receive the Cryptoglyph rune.

Step Five: Defeat 100 Scorn in the Throne World.

Kill 100 Scorn enemies in the Throne World destination. Public events and Lost Sectors are a great way to progress this step quickly.

Step Six: Find the entrance to the Sepulcher Lost Sector.

Travel to the Florescent Canal where you'll find the Sepulcher Lost Sector marked on your map. Head inside to complete this step.

Step Seven: Complete the Sepulcher Lost Sector and place the worm at the end.

Complete the Sepulcher Lost Sector. After all of the enemies have been defeated, interact with the Deepsight orb in the center of the room to reveal an opening in the ceiling at the back of the room.

Jump through the opening and place the worm on the larvae incubator to complete this step.

Step Eight: Complete three Patrols in the Florescent Canal.

Complete any three Patrols in the Florescent Canal area of the Throne World to complete this step.

Step Nine: Locate a Cryptoglyph rune in the Queen's Bailey.

Head to the Queen's Bailey (north of Florescent Canal in the Throne World) where you'll fight a few waves of enemies at the end, capped off with a Lightbearer's Acolyte.

Step Ten: Locate the entrance to the Metamorphosis Lost Sector in the Miasma.

Head to the marked area on your map in the Miasma area of the Throne World where you'll find the Metamorphosis Lost Sector. Head inside to complete this step.

Step Eleven: Complete the Metamorphosis Lost Sector and place the worm at the end.

Complete the Metamorphosis Lost Sector. After all of the enemies have been defeated, interact with the Deepsight orb to reveal a doorway.

Head into the passage and place the worm on the larvae incubator at the back of the room.

Step Twelve: Locate a Cryptoglyph rune in the Alluring Curtain.

Head to the Alluring Curtain (south of Florescent Canal in the Throne World) where you'll have to fight a few waves of enemies, including a Lightbearer Knight in the final wave.

Step Thirteen: Locate the Deepsight cache in the Alluring Curtain.

Turn around and you'll see a Deepsight orb you can use. Interact with it to reveal a series of platforms.

Shoot the torches on three of the platforms to illuminate them and reveal the chest near the Deepsight orb. Collect it to pick up the Cryptoglyph rune.

Step Fourteen: Locate the entrance to the Extraction Lost Sector in Quagmire.

Head to the marked area on your map in the Quagmire area of the Throne World where you'll find the Extraction Lost Sector. You'll need to use the Deepsight orb to reveal platforms down to the entrance. Head inside to complete this step.

Step Fifteen: Complete the Extraction Lost Sector and place the worm at the end.

Complete the Extraction Lost Sector. After all of the enemies have been defeated, head through the hallway and use the Deepsight orb at the end to reveal another doorway behind the statue.

Place the worm on the larvae incubator at the back of the room to complete this step.

Step Sixteen: Return to Fynch.

Head back and speak with Fynch in the Throne World to receive the Hive Casing.

Step Seventeen: Complete the Parasitic Pilgrimage mission.

The final step of this Quest is to complete the Parasitic Pilgrimage mission. You'll find it in the Florescent Canal area of the Throne World. Parasitic Pilgrimage has a recommended Power level of 1520.

You'll receive the Parasite Exotic Grenade Launcher after completing the final battle.
