A beautiful little city and a magnificent castle complex. Truly fairytale medieval architecture. I made a day visit from Prague. Note: I was in low season, mid March so many tourist traps were closed… who cares? I spent a good number of hours walking in and around, the views from outside are breathtaking. Little bears live in the castle moat! Hopefully they are happy.

One of the best castles I have visited, views from the castle and of the castle from surrounding areas are amazing, Cesky Krumlov is a top attraction in Czech especially if you want to get away from the crowded city like Prague

Love the whole experience, the place is so beautiful that i cant described it, so im gonna be attaching some photos, but its definitely worth the time, u have to walk a lot uphill/downhill so my suggestion is to wear snickers, BUT its perfect for taking pictures so if u wanna cute pictures u should bring clothes so u can change. The place is magical, just like the movies beautiful gardens, houses inside the castle, they also have 2 bears that u can see there. The view at the bridge is great. Around the castle there are restaurants and places to buy some souvenirs and u also can do kayak there. Love everything about it.

Amazing place! Almost no people, I highly recommend visiting during late winter/early spring in order to avoid crowds.There are brown bears, you can watch them playing, fighting or chasing pigeons (which are not afraid of the bears at all).

Beautiful little city! Definitely worth a visit or a day trip from Prague. The castle is free to to walk around but going in requires admission. Also there are no cars in this part of town so you’ll have to park outside the gates or take a bus in.

Wonderful historic castle. Even if you aren’t a history nerd, I’d still check it out for the views. (They say no photos allowed inside but I smuggled some for y’all anyway).My favorite part was the giant golden carriage that was given to the royal family as a gift from the pope.

This entire town is gorgeous. The castle looks like it was in a fairy tale, and there are beautiful gardens and scenic spots surrounding the whole thing. I hope you get a chance to tour the castle’s interior because it is gorgeous. So grateful to see this beautiful city!

Everything about this beautiful town is worth five stars, and the castle is no exception. We walked up the tower and were treated to a 360 degree view of the city, but our favorite part was a nighttime stroll of the castle. It is always open, and the quiet of the property combined with the views of the beautifully-lit city below combined to make it a unique and wonderful experience. If you haven't planned to visit Cesky Krumlov while in the Czech Republic, adjust yoir plans for at least a night or two.

All I can say is this place is truly from a fairy tale. It is absolutely beautiful!! If you visit make sure to walk along the river as you get awesome angles of the castle and town!! I also took the tour Circuit 1. It was real cool and I'm glad I took it. Lots of history and it was cool to actually see the inside!! Short bus ride from Prague!!

Very nice castle where you can walk around for free or take one of several guided tours. Route 1 will show you the more fancy rooms, as well as the gilded coach and the Masquerade Hall. It lasts about an hour, some are available in English, costs about $10. Toilets are in one of the castle courtyards, clean, cost 20Kč. The bears in the moat have historical ties to the last Rosenberg rulers who used to demonstrate their relationship to a noble Italian family of Orsini (which means a bear).

You can spend some hours there even without visiting the castle itself. You have a wonderful view over Krumlov. Best time recommended late afternoon when the light comes from the side and puts the city in a very nice gloom.

It is the second greatest castle complex in Czech Republic. Really worth to see not only the castle itself, but also the city:) recommend to but tickets online as these place is always busy!

One of the places I loved in Cesky Krumlov was the imposing castle. It feels like it surrounds the city and tries to protect it from all the bad things that could come.I visited out of season, (in February) so I could not visit the interior, but even so I was very impressed. The season starts sometime in March from my understanding, and it lasts all summer, they have a breathing period and during the Christmas period it gets incredibly busy again.Visiting outside season was good for me as I had the possibility to walk around and enjoy everything without having to wait in line☺️Coming back to the castle, it has incredible views overlooking the city and the surroundings. The interior courtyard is well kept and you still have a lot of incredible architecture details and paintings to admire. There is a museum, theater, a souvenir shop, restaurant and a very nice coffee shop with a breathtaking view.Definitely worth visiting!

Absolute geogeous town, so dreamy, with all the fairy tale elements. Castle, mountain, lake, curvy streets, I really can see why people say this is the movie beautiful town in Czech Republic and top ranked in Europe. When we visited, there was a rain and after the rain, we see the rainbow which falls right on the tower. You can't get more dreamy than that!!

Beautiful castle; Perfect place to visit when it’s sunny (but not too hot) and took us around 2 hours to finish the whole museum & tower tour. There are some good viewpoints to click amazing pictures!

The main attraction of your walk above the city. The Castle is awesome, there is a muesum and Castle Tower, but the views are much better at higher viewpoints at the castle. I usually start at the Garden above the castle and then work my way down, and there is free parking along the Garden. #SeeTheWorld @ChuckDiesal
